Dr. Hasan Al Arrayed is a pioneering Consultant Ophthalmologist in Bahrain with nearly 50 years of clinical and surgical experience. He began his medical career in the 1960s and pursued his specialization in ophthalmology at the American University of Beirut Medical Center, earning certification from the American Board of Ophthalmology. He later continued his training in the United Kingdom, where he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.

Upon returning to Bahrain in 1977, Dr. Hasan joined Salmaniya Medical Center, where he served as a Consultant and later as Head of the Ophthalmology Department for over a decade. During his tenure, he played a major role in shaping ophthalmic services in the Kingdom and was an active member of more than 20 local and international medical societies.

In 1992, Dr. Hasan founded Al Arrayed Eye Center with a vision to offer specialized, high-quality eye care in Bahrain. He continues to serve as Chairman and full-time Consultant Surgeon. In 2009, he expanded his mission by establishing an additional ophthalmic center in Qatar, further contributing to eye care across the region.

Dr. Hasan remains a strong advocate for ongoing education and clinical excellence. He regularly participates in international ophthalmology conferences in the US and Europe to stay at the forefront of surgical advancements and bring the latest innovations to patients in Bahrain and beyond.
