Dr. Hamed Al Arrayed is a distinguished Consultant in Vitreoretinal and Cataract Surgery with over 15 years of experience in the field of ophthalmology. A graduate of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, he also holds a Master’s in Ophthalmic Science from the University of Sydney and a Postgraduate Diploma in Cataract and Refractive Surgery from the University of Ulster.

He completed his surgical training at the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital in Dublin and is certified by both the Irish College of Ophthalmologists and the European Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Hamed excels in Cataract surgeries, Phaco with IOL implantation under topical anesthesia and general anesthesia, as well as in the medical and surgical management of diabetic retinopathy.

Passionate about innovation in eye care, Dr. Hamed played a key role in introducing advanced laser vision correction procedures to Bahrain, including SMILE Pro and Presbyond LASIK. In addition to his clinical expertise, he holds a Master’s in Healthcare Management, enabling him to lead with a vision that combines clinical excellence with strategic advancement.
